We all love Montalcinello. Perhaps it is precisely this love that, over time, has led to the birth of different sensitivities, groups and visions. Bringing the village together under a truly unified leadership, able to represent everyone, is not easy.
Yet there is one belief that unites us: Montalcinello needs to rediscover a spirit of unity, participation and cooperation. It needs to overcome the oppositions that over the years have divided people, associations and local realities, from the Pro Loco to the Circolo, and even other small disputes that, in the end, only weaken and frustrate our community.
For this reason I consider it good news that Sergio Giannetti is willing to run for the presidency of the Pro Loco (term expiring).
Born in Montalcinello, he knows the village deeply and, over the course of his life, has shown through actions that he can create value where there was none, leading for many years the local company that provided work to hundreds of people. His entrepreneurial and international experience has taught him that the best results are achieved together, when you listen to everyone and build shared goals.
Precisely for this reason, his can be a candidacy able to give everyone a voice. A presidency at the service of the whole community.
When I learned of his willingness, I did not hide my enthusiasm. I thought it was right to share this news immediately with everyone, without leaving it confined to the village corridors or simple word of mouth.
I hope that each person, regardless of ideas, affiliations or friendships, will want to place their trust in Sergio and accompany him on this path. His goal is to build a program that is born from listening and from everyone’s contribution, gathering ideas, proposals and projects for the good of Montalcinello.
Because a strong Pro Loco can bring us back to walking together along the paths we will make. This is the time to set divisions aside and rediscover what unites us: love for our village.
