If these days we’ve been a bit quiet, it’s simply because our hands were working more than the keyboard. The restoration work at the Scogli continues nonstop: after completing the intervention on Silvia’s side, we’re now joining forces with Gianluca to open a new passage from his side too.
The effort pays off: the magnificent Pulpit Boulder (one of the iconic elements of the Scogli that you can admire in the photo below 👇) is finally starting to bare itself, re-emerging in all its ancient beauty.
To let it breathe, we’re tackling a real "forteto": an impenetrable tangle of brambles, traveller’s joy and ivy that held the rock prisoner in a deadly embrace. This deep clearing is essential not only to bring light back to the Scogli, but also to enjoy the woods in peace, reducing the spread of horseflies and other pests.
