As many of you may know, a lively debate is heating up about the concrete building leaning against the historic retaining wall on Via del Lavatoio (the one currently used mainly by the Pro Loco and for election posters).
We believe the administration should know the opinion of the whole community.
A redevelopment proposal has been put forward to give new life to that area: 🧱 Demolish the structure to bring the ancient stone wall back to light. 🚲 Create a stopover and rental point for e-bikes, parking with electric charging points, focusing on sustainable tourism. 💧 Install an elegant, "light" fountain in memory of the old washhouse.
But what is the best solution for Montalcinello? Keep things as they are, or embrace this new project?
